Ta Nung Valley

Track leading down to the valley and birding site from the road Dalat-Ta Nung. The valley has been transformed into a tourist attraction in 2018, called: Hoa Son Dien Trang (sign and gate visible from road). Still good for birding before ca. 9 am, before tourists arrive.

Cong Troi

How to get there

ca. 1h drive from Dalat, passing Dankia lake. Birding after "Cong Troi" Ranger Station and sign " Bidoup Nui Ba National Park" along the road and on small tracks in the forest.

Mount Lang Bian

Tan Thanh (Go Cong)

Mudflats at Tan Thanh beach, regular wintering site for Spoon-billed Sandpiper, Nordmann's Greenshank and plenty other waders. SBS not easy to find, one has to walk around on the mudflats and check out the Red-necked stints. Mudflats dissappear at high tide and birds move away, best is at low tide.
