Birding day to the south-west of Melbourne to add some target species to my Australia list

I ALWAYS get speeding fines around Melbourne (very expensive), despite being extremely careful now. Happened again this time !!

Eynesbury Grey Box Forest

I birded the forest reserve north of town, as well as the Green Park Oval and the Golf Course.

You Yangs Regional Park

Just a brief visit as the circle drive was closed. I visited the northern area around the car park and the forest around the information center in the south.

Lake Modewarre

Just a short stop at the end of Lewis Rd. Scanned the lake and birded the immediate surrounding. Walking along the lake seems promising.
