Dieter Oschadleus
About me:
Dieter has been fascinated with birds since his high school days, and has been studying birds for some 40 years. He trained to be a bird ringer while studying at the University of Cape Town. Some years later he took the post of bird ringing coordinator. Dieter was in this post for 20 years, and took part in bird conferences and workshops all over Africa (and the rest of the world). He organised many national, and some international, bird ringing courses. All this involved lots of bird watching too! Dieter is particularly interested in weaverbirds.
Dieter is a registered bird guide in all provinces of South Africa, and has birded widely in Africa and the Indian Ocean islands. Dieter is able to act as a bird guide in Cape Town and elsewhere.
