Edmund Isaac Burra (Eddie) Eddie was born and raised in the city of Arusha and the village called Karatu at the Southern slopes of Ngorongoro Highlands.He is married and has two lovely daughters.His Life at the Southern Ngorongoro Highland brought the love for the animals and environment passion on the surface. He is a Safari Specialist and a Professional Guide for over fifteen years from the insects, wild flowers, reptiles, mammals and star gazing. His love for the birding grows every day. Wildlife Photography, Wildlife Projects and Community Projects are parts of his life. ·         He worked with Green Footprint Adventure now known as Wayo since 2000- 2003 as Naturalist, doing Nature Walks, Hikes, Rock Climbing, Biking, Canoeing, Village Walks, Night and Day Safaris. ·         Worked with CCAfrica- Conservation Corporation Africa now known as AndBeyond from 2003-2010 as a guide after intensive training of six months. Out of 300 interview candidates only three of them made through, that was at Klein’s camp then Masai Mara in Kenya, Grumeti River Camp at the western Serengeti then Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for six years. He contributed in several journals and the Wild Watch page all these were field observation projects and the major one was the Cheetahs movement and lifestyle in the Crater with the Maasai, Lions and 450 Hyenas. He was the part of the Green Team  and Conservation studies member taking school children for game viewing and teach them the importance of Conservation in the whole  world in general ·         Freelance Safari Guide from 2010 to present with Safari Legacy and Nomad Tanzania  The Guests and groups he dealt with were World Presidential Organization (WPO), Young Presidential Organization (YPO), Family Grand Safari, Tauck World Discovery, Orbridge, Toyota World Discovery, Immension Journey, Texas A & M, Overseas Adventure Travel, Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, Dartmouth Alumni, Ivy Leagues, Private Guided Safari and Honeymooners He participated on Big Birding competition five times in 29 camps and lodges of AndBeyond all over Africa!  and ended in the second position for all those five times but he never gave up,  he participated on storytelling  competition with the same numbers of lodges and camps about the most amazing experience he had while working as a guide and guess what!? He won the first prize and he been awarded a pair of the most expensive binoculars called SWAROVSKI OPTIK worth US$ 3,500! He worked with different Community and Wildlife Organization like Global Roots, Ivory Orphans with Africa Wildlife Trust, Africa Foundation and Save the Rain Tanzania He has been certified and designated from different colleges such as Intraglobal Training Institute (Tourism & Tour guide), Knight Support (Safari/Medic First Aid Responder), Permaculture Design, Wings Driving School, Mwewe Training School (AndBeyond Guiding School), 5 Years Long Service Award AndBeyond, Solar Cooker International (EA), Driver & Mechanics Course, Mt. Kilimanjaro- Tanzania. He published several articles at the Grumeti River Camp, Klein’s Camp, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge and Ngorongoro Crater Lodge Journals, Ecoguides and Wild Watch pages which were the field observation for many years and compile all the notes and make a proper research with a meaning in it All of these come with natural passion about the bush life enthusiasm and real love about nature and it never ends!
