The Delmarva Peninsula is comprised of the Eastern Shores of Maryland and Virginia and most of the State of Delaware. This region in the mid-Atlantic of the US possesses an extensive variety of environments, including barrier islands, tidal wetlands, cypress swamps, upland fields and primeval forests. Our Delmarva Birding Weekends celebrate the amazing warblers, shorebirds, waterfowl and raptors that visit and live here on the peninsula. We also help coordinate birding events in Baltimore (www.BaltimoreBirding.com) and Philadelphia (www.PhillyBirding.com), and we coordinate field trips for the annual convention of the Maryland Ornithological Society (www.MOSconvention.org).
