About me:
Chris founded Peregrine Bird tours in 1984 and is the most experienced bird tour leader in Australia. Originally from northern England, where he developed a keen interest in birds, Chris has been birding for as long as he can remember. He has led a great many birding tours throughout Australia, and has observed in excess of 820 species of birds in Australia and its territories. Chris is acknowledged as one of the world’s most experienced bird tour leaders, he has field experience with over 8,200 different species of birds in the world, and has led 237 birding tours, literally to every corner of the globe. A few years ago Chris founded Melbourne Birding Tours, which specialises in full day and half day birding tours in and around the Melbourne area in South Eastern Australia.
