I am a passionate naturalist and field biologist from Sri Lanka with extensive experience in birding, mammal observation, herpetology, and community-based conservation. Over the past years, I have worked across Yala, Bundala, Wilpattu, and Mannar, guiding birdwatchers, conducting research, and leading awareness programs on Sri Lanka’s diverse ecosystems.
I specialise in identifying and documenting Sri Lankan resident and migratory birds, especially in the wet zone, coastal wetlands & dry-zone scrublands, and forest habitats. My work includes bird surveys, species behaviour documentation, and guiding international and local guests through birding trails in national parks and sanctuaries.
