Girum Tewelde is an Ethiopian birding guide with more than 16 years of experience in birdwatching and nature guiding. He has extensive experience guiding birdwatchers through different habitats and helping visitors identify and understand Ethiopia’s remarkable diversity of bird species.
His professional knowledge is supported by an academic background in Tourism, with both a first degree and a second degree in the field. This combination of academic expertise and practical experience has strengthened his understanding of tourism, wildlife, and nature-based guiding.
Through his work, Girum shares his knowledge of birds, wildlife, and Ethiopia’s natural environment while promoting appreciation and conservation of the country’s rich biodiversity.
