About me:
I am a freelance ornithologist, columnist, and evolutionary biologist who does various contracting work and some guiding on the side. My greatest strength and focus in the ornithological world is in bird sounds and bioaccoustics, and I am contracted with Cornell to improve the Merlin Sound ID software for North America. I live part-time in Chiapas, Mexico, and speak Spanish as well as my natal tongues (English & Norwegian).
