About me:
André Grassi is from Frutal/MG and started to get interested in birds in the Biology undergraduate program at the Goiás State University (UEG), where he did research on reproductive behavior and the diet of Amazonian Motmot nestlings.
He received his Master’s degree diploma from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), researching the distribution and habitat use of Kaempfer’s Woodpecker, a species that was recently rediscovered.
André Grassi is currently a birdwatching guide and environmental consultant, doing survey and monitoring of birds. Since 2010 he travels all over the country with the sole purpose of observing and studying this beautiful and rich group; birds.
