About me:
am a biologist and I dedicate myself to ornithology. I have been studying Cuban birds for more than 38 years, as my scientific activity but very quickly I discovered the passion for bird watching, after a scientific expedition ended I always dedicated a few extra days to enjoy bird watching that has become a true passion. Since 2012, I have started doing guided bird watching in Cuba. I really like this activity since you can show Cuban birds to many interested people and share with them the passion for Birds watching. 2022 was a very special year for me because we celebrate in Cuba our first Big Year For this, I spent many hours traveling throughout the geography of Cuba, which included all the provinces. Finally I observed 261 species of birds, obtaining first place as well as being among the 10 best birdwatchers of the 16 provinces of Cuba and the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality.
