About me:
I am Birdguide , Tour -operator, Homestay Owner (Bonfarmhouse) & Bird-Photographer based in Sikkim, North-East India. I have been birding since my childhood and been leading serious bird tours since 2007. I do birding more with ears and then locate the birds as I know almost all the bird calls of North-East India(Sikkim, North-Bengal hills ,Bhutan,Assam,Arunachal,Nagaland & Manipur. I have photographed around 500 bird species with some of the very rare and elusive species but always the last to photograph while leading groups (preference to client or guest first). I have in past work and still offer my guide services to Birdquest (UK) and allIndiabirdingtours(Peter Lobo). I have published a couple of mine records like discovery of Yunnan nuthatch (Sitta yunnanensis) for South Asia, new location of critically endangered Bugun Liocichla (Liocichla bugunorum)and many more. I am a graduate in Tourism Management and can converse in English very well.
