About me:
I was born in Peru and spent my childhood in the Andes and the jungle of Cusco. The love for nature paved the way into my professional life. After graduating in tourism studies, I started my work as an official tourist guide specialized in birding tourism.
I'm founder and manager of Kuntur Birding, guiding birding tours for over 15 years in South American countries like Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador and Bolivia.
As a professional wildlife photographer, I have more than 12 years of experience in guiding bird and wildlife photography tours in South America. My work has been featured in national and international publications, media and books.
I'm giving talks on birding and wildlife tourism, participates in conferences and teaching about wildlife photography and birding through (online) workshops and courses.
Together with my birding partners in Peru, we founded the COAP (Peruvian Birding Club), where I'm continues to be active as a member of the board.
