Level 3 Tourist Guide Certificate (Africa Institute of Tourism and Field Guiding, 2025), including training in
research methods for birds, data analysis and report writing, bird conservation projects and management,
and birding programme development.
Government-recognised Tourist Guide Certificate (Uganda Vocational Qualifications Framework –
Directorate of Industrial Training, Ministry of Education and Sports, 2022).
Practical training in bird identification, habitat identification, nature interpretation, and guiding through
certified courses (2019–2023).
Participation in the Youth in the Forest-based Enterprise Development Programme (Wildlife Clubs of
Uganda, supported by the US Forest Service, 2024), focused on conservation-linked livelihoods, youth
engagement, and community capacity building.
