(En français plus bas) The Lake Boivin include a marsh with a Nature Interpretation Center with facilities (CINLB.org). The 9.7 km of trails where 2 observation towers and 400m of footbridges are set up allow visitors to walk four trails in different environments. The 1.3 km “hemlock grove” trail is an environment where the “Le nichoir” tower gives a magnificent view of Lake Boivin. In spring we can observe several species of ducks and the return of migratory birds. The 0.9 km swamp trail is an extension of the hemlock grove trail and provides access to a 400 m walkway where you can observe the magnificent Wood Duck, Marsh Sparrow, Marsh Wren and many other species. The 6.1 km hiking trail is divided into a 3.7 km pedestrian section which joins a 2.4 km multifunctional path shared by the cycle path. There we find the 10 m high tower. Finally, the "Des Ormes" trail, which runs along a stream where sightings of green herons, great blue herons, Virginia rail and stream warbler are frequent as well as several other species.

FRENCH VERSION : Les 9.7 km de sentiers où 2 tours d’observation et 400m de passerelles sont aménagées permettent aux visiteurs d’arpenter quatre sentiers aux environnements différents. Le sentier de La ‘’prucheraie’’ de 1.3 km est un milieu où la tour ‘’Le nichoir’’ donne une magnifique vue sur le lac Boivin. Au printemps nous pouvons y observer plusieurs espèces de canards et le retour des oiseaux migrateurs. Le sentier du marécage de 0.9 km est une prolongation du sentier de la prucheraie il donne accès à 400 m de passerelle où l’on peut y observer le magnifique Canard Branchu, le Bruant des marais, le Troglodyte des marais et plusieurs autres espèces. Le sentier de la randonnée de 6.1 km est divisé en une section pédestre de 3.7 km qui rejoint une piste multifonctionnelle sur 2.4 km partagée par la piste cyclable. Nous y trouvons la tour ‘’D’y voir’’ d’une hauteur de 10 m. Enfin le sentier ‘’Des Ormes’’ qui longe un ruisseau où les observations de héron vert, de grand héron, de râle de Virginie et de paruline des ruisseaux sont fréquentes ainsi que plusieurs autres espèces.

There is a nature center at the northern corner of Lac Boivin, which has a variety of exhibits and trails showing the diversity of the ecosystem at Lac Boivin. Most trails are accessible by wheelchair/quadriporter, but none are drivable. There are two watchtowers throughout the lake, one roughly near the middle of the lake on the "Granbyenne" biking trail. Bathrooms are found at the nature center, and porta-potties can be found all around the bike trails.

The site is secure and has no poison ivy. (Toxicodendron radicans)
