List up to ca. 25 species that:
• have a limited distribution range and/or are rare on a global level
• are most sought-after by birdwatchers at this site
• and are relatively easy to see at this site (year-round or seasonally)

Fan-tailed Cuckoo (Cacomantis flabelliformis)
Painted Buttonquail (Turnix varius)

Bold Park has little seasonal variation in species occurence. Cuckoos (such as the Fan-tailed Cuckoo and Shining Bronze Cuckoo) occur only in winter and spring, whilst most other species occur year-round.

Morning is generally the best, especially before 10am. Most birds are active, calling and foraging at this time of day.

A good strategy for Painted Buttonquail, one of the more sought-after species at Bold Park, is to walk slowly along the boardwalk at the Reabold Hill summit. Failing this, a slow walk along the stretch of the Zamia Trail directly adjacent to the boardwalk may yield good results. This same strategy will allow for good views of Spotted Scrubwren and Purple-backed Fairywren.

Give recommendations for making your visit as productive as possible.
This may include for instance:
• best season
• best time of the day
• how much time to spend at the site
• best means of locomotion within the site
• recommended routes / areas within the site
• guiding

The best means of transport to access Bold Park is car. Bus services in the area are run by Transperth. The carpark at the summit (Reabold Hill summit) is often crowded and available bays are lacking due to the business of the carpark.

The carpark nearest to the BirdLife Western Australia office always has available bays, and there is a short (albeit steep) walk to the summit from this carpark.

Explain from where and how to get to this site with private and public transport.
