Hiking is the best means of getting around the park in the summer, but expect there to be snow on the ground until July or even August. In the winter, snowshoes are the main way to get around, with some paths accessible on crosscountry skis.

If you are visiting between December 15th and March 31st, day use reservations are required, and these can only be booked two days in advance. Reserve here: https://reserve.bcparks.ca/dayuse/

The main gate at the bottom of the hill is closed overnight, from 10PM to 7AM.

The main parking lot is at a skihill, so there is skiing in the winter as well as a lot of hiking and several scenic overlooks with amazing views of the areas, especially the Deep Cove Lookout.
