There is some reed areas in the lake in front of the bird watchong tower. Next to the tower is a info table about birds possible to see here.

River is partly open almost through winter too, so it is maybe a worth to check in case of white-troated dippers and other wintering waterfowl.

The tower was renovated in 2021.
