Putaanlahden lintutorni

63.37038 , 25.58792

Finland

A birdwatching tower next to the E4 road in Pihtipudas, Central Finland. There are also some walking trails along the river and lake shore.

There are some reedbed areas around the lake in front of the birdwatching tower. Next to the tower is an information table about birds that can be seen here.

The river is partly open almost throughout the winter too, so it may be worth checking for white-throated dippers and wintering waterfowl.

The tower was renovated in 2021.
