A forested park in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The park spans riparian, reservoir, and dense forest at what is a relatively high elevation for the area. This site can be productive for pileated woodpecker, varied thrush, band-tailed pigeon, and even a bald eagle or owl if you're lucky.

Depending on the region of the park you intent to visit, trails can be strenuous. This is especially true after rain, so be prepared for long and steep hikes up potentially muddy trails.
