This site is a park with very diverse vegetation and trees and aslo has a little stream meandering through it. A greart place for a variety o f doves and pigeons, Like Scaly-naped Pigeon, Zenaida dove, Bare-eyed pigeon, White-winged dove, Common Ground Dove. Furthermore we find Pearly Eyed Trashers, Gray Kingbirds, humming birds, Grassquits, Bananaquits, and a variety of herons. During Migration also Wilson Snipe, Northern water trush..

The park is also an important historical site, it was part of a former plantation and the last owner donated the park to the people of Sint Maarten, to be used as a public park. It is goverened by a foundation and development is not possible, so , though not officially protected, it enjoys protection by means of the bylaws of the foundation.

There is a very interesting variety of trees in the park and some ruins from the plantation days
