It is recommended to leave very early to reach the site at dawn where the bird activity is greatest and there are also good chances of seeing the parrots. Bird watching is done along the road, stopping to observe in fragments and edges of the forest, paying attention to the mixed flocks or species that you can find along the road.

Se recomienda salir muy temprano para llegar al sitio al amanecer donde la actividad de las aves es mayor y también hay buenas posibilidades de ver los loritos. La observacion de aves se hace a lo largo de la carretera, deteniendose a observar en fragmentos y bordes del bosque, prestando atención a las bandadas mixtas o especies que puedas encontrar a lo largo de la carretera.

The journey to the point can vary depending on the car in which you travel and can be approximately 1 -1.5 hours from Santa Rosa de Cabal. You know you are at the point because you will find some signs alluding to the parrot, and the best places are the edge of the forest that is in front of Finca Cortaderal.

ESPAÑOL: Se requiere de vehículo 4x4 pues es una carretera sin pavimentar que normalmente permanece en malas condiciones. El trayecto hasta el punto puede variar según el carro en que te desplaces y puede ser de aproximadamente 1 -1,5 horas desde Santa Rosa de Cabal. Sabes que estás en el punto porque vas a encontrar algunos letreros alusivos al loro, y los mejores sitios son el borde del bosque que está al frente de la Finca Cortaderal.
