As of July 2023 138 species listed on eBird at this location. Great birding here all year long. 

Bus accessible location via #65 bus. Large parking lot across the street at Meadowbrook Community Center which has ample free parking that includes handicap parking with room for ramp. Restrooms and pool inside center building. Community center parking lot to Meadowbrook Pond is paved and flat, access via crosswalk on 35th ave NE.

Restrooms and pool inside center building. Community center parking lot to Meadowbrook Pond is paved and flat, access via crosswalk on 35th ave NE.

No fee or pass needed to visit site

Outdoor art pieces, poetry in park sometimes. in addition to birds and turtles, mammal sightings include Beaver and River Otters. Benches in shade for sitting and quiet reflection. Area is Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) stormwater detention and flood control facility which cleans Thorton Creek. Many native plants are present and managed by Green Seattle Partnership.

Restroom facilities at Meadowbrook Community Center across the street. This is a fantastic urban and accessible birding spot. Flat, paved trails, including a flat wooden boardwalk with hand rails that travel over the pond. Benches in shade for sitting.

A small but active area. Watch for cyclists using trails. They are supposed to walk their bikes on boardwalk but that isn't always the case.
