A quite newly founded (2009) wetland on the Northern side of the lake Littoistenjärvi in Soutwestern Finland. It attracts yearly Whooper swans, a range of ducks, waders and grebes. A colony of Black-headed gulls breed yearly at the wetland.

The Järvelä wetland is considered a very important breeding area for many duck species, amphibians (e.g. Moor frogs) and insects. In the surrounding woods live among others Black woodpeckers, Hazel grouses and Siberian flying squirrels.

The wetland itself is best to visit from the end of April to the end September, other times of the year it's probably quite quiet. The nearby lake Littoistenjärvi attracts ducks, geese and other water birds during migration times in April and October-November. These can be observed from the sandy beaches at northern and southern ends of the lake.
