• are most sought-after by birdwatchers at this site

The dry season (from november to march) is good to visit the place and look for curassows in the ravines where they seek to drink water. The local guide knows where the species is moving and the tours are on foot along well-established trails.

The farm is less than an hour by land from Arauca and can be reached by public transportation or by arranging a car with the owners of the place.

It is recommended to use mosquito repellent and long clothing as insects abound on the trails and to use sunscreen for the parts of the route outside the forest.
