The Narbonnaise regional park covers the coastal area from Fleury d'Aude in the north to Leucate in the south and inland it covers the coastal Corbières range of hills from Fitou in the south via St André de Roquelongue and Montséret to Boutenac in the north.  The park encompasses and extraordinary diversity of habitats and offers fantastic birding all year round, with unrestricted free public access to the best spots. Most of the emblematic Mediterranean species are present at various times of the year.
Some of the best spots include the Leucate plateau and Etang d'Ayrolles for spring migration; the Roc de Conilhac for Autumn migration; the lagoons, reedbeds and former salt pans along the coast between Gruissan and Fleury d'Aude; the salt pans at La Palme; low-lying dunes and lagoons at les Coussoules and La Franqui; open dry grassland, garrigue and vineyards around Feuilla and Fitou.

Narbonne train station is the closest for low carbon travellers.

Carcassonne, Béziers and Perpignan airports all provide easy access too.
