Boy Scout Woods, Hooks Woods Sanctuary, Smith Oaks Sanctuary

During the spring, be on the lookout for various species of migrating Warblers, Flycatchers, Egrets, Ducks, Kites, Hawks, Phoebes, Herons, Shorebirds, Woodpeckers, Waterfowl, Egrets, Herons, Swallows, Buntings, Storks, Wrens, Sparrows, Raptors, Tanagers and Doves.

Viewing Recommendations: A zoom/telephoto lens (200 mm or more), spotting scope or binoculars are recommended for this trip.

Dress for unpredictable warm / hot coastal weather. Boots, long lightweight pants and a lightweight shirt are recommended. Bug spray is a must!

Physical Difficulty: Easy to moderate (walking on level grass, boardwalk decking, sand and dirt paths)
