The best season for the Mangrove Cuckoo is from late April-July when they're more territorial. Plan to arrive either first thing in the morning or right after a rain. You should be able to locate one within a half hour of arrival. Drive around to the back of the park where you'll find a paved road lined with mangroved on each side. Park here and explore the trails or walk along the road.

Give recommendations for making your visit as productive as possible.
