Good, accessible place to look for native songbirds. Apapane is common. Kauai Elepaio is rather common in certain areas. Kauai Amakihi can be found on most high-elevation trails. Anianiau are uncommon on higher trails. Iiwi are rare here now. Akekee are very rare and unlikely but possible in this area.
