The Inzinger Gaisau is a small, neat birding area with a nice mixture of meadows, mixed riparean woodland, river and a small pond. Particularly nice in spring with migrants moving through. More than 150 species have been seen there in recent years.

PRIVATE CAR

From Innsbruck, head west along the A12 Inntal Autobahn, taking Exit 71 Zirl West. At the t-junction, turn right towards Inzing, and a couple hundred metres, turn right again. Continue straight through Inzing, parking at the open parking area west of town near the tennis courts (47.2766N, 11.1892E). Walk northwards towards the main river and the riparean zone.

TRAIN

Catch a regional train to Inzing in Tirol Bahnhof. Leave the train station to the north and head to the river, following the river upstream (to the west) in to the Gaisau.
