Signposted off the Seaton Carew, south of Seaton Carew. Not linked by bus, the nearest train station is at Seaton Carew. The reserve itself is wheel chair accessible.

Modern information centre, shop, cafe and toilets. The cafe overlooks the reserve. There are a number of hides, and a telescope is useful but not essential. The RSPB often have 'hide wardens' who will show visitors interesting birds. Photography is possible.

None, it's a pleasent reserve to walk around, and plenty of parking close to the reserve entrance.
