Less than an hour west of Belgrade. The access points are the Centre for information and education at the oxbow lake bank near the village of Obrež (NW), or the village of Kupinovo in the southwest of the reserve.

Obrež: The waterside trail, located along the edge of the reedbed, starts at the Centre for information from the "Kula Obeda" observation tower, goes NE over the small bridge and passes by the “Matijevica” observation platform (cover photo). All the way, the trail goes through the riparian forest of the English oaks and white poplar.

Kupinovo: The road from Kupinovo goes 300 m to the south, where it forks – take the right/western fork. It goes some 6 and a half kilometres to the west and about halfway, when you spot the River Sava after 3.2 km, tarmac gives way to still good gravel. When you reach a cross-junction, the road to the Obrez Village goes right/north for another 4 km, in total 10.5 kilometres.
