Depending on your interest the park is always rewarding throughout the whole year.

Morning and evening hours can be great but the evening seems to be more rewarding especially if you want to enjoy nature and landscapes, the Park has one of the best places to watch the sunset.

It is best to drive around with a 4WD safari Jeep.

The park has diffrent park routes which are very good but Queens Track, Common Wealth Tracks, Victoria Tracks and Shoebill are the best to explore while in the park.

If you want to enjoy the park you should definitely hire a safari guide.

Give recommendations for making your visit as productive as possible.
This may include for instance:
• best season
• best time of the day
• how much time to spend at the site
• best means of locomotion within the site
• recommended routes / areas within the site
• guiding

There are two main ways to get there.

You can fly in with a local airline and the most used are Bar Aviation and Aero Link. The park has two airstrips, the main one being in the center of the park called Pakuba Airstrip and the second one being slightly outside the park called Bugungu Aistrip.

By car it depends from where you're entering from. There are different gates and the main ones are Kichumbanyombo gate which is closer to masindi and is the main gate, Tangi gate which can be accessed from the northern part of the park and Bugungu Gate which can be accessed from Bulissa. All roads to the park are well made.

Explain from where and how to get to this site with private and public transport.

The park has over 95 different recorded mammals, one of the oldest tropical rain forests called Budongo Forest, and one of the most beautiful landscapes the country can offer.

Other sights to see are the world's most powerful falls called Murchison Falls where you see the world's longest river squeezing itself through an 8m gorge and pouring 47m deep. It's really an amazing moment to witness.

The park also has a delta point where River Nile meets with Lake Albert and to make it more amazing it is at that point that you find the country's lowest point which is about 610m above sea level.

The park has different activities like the famous boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, hiking the cliff to the bottom of the falls and back to the top. You can also do hot air ballooning.

Add information about other attractions at this site, including
• wildlife (apart from birds)
• sights (natural, cultural, archaeological, etc.)
• activities (e.g. for non-birding companions)
