The best time to visit here is probably all year round but the april to may long rains period should be avoided, from june to October it is cold but expect rain anyime of the day due to its proximity to the eastern Coastal region. The tourism activities in Udzungwa np largely evolved on hiking so to do this on foot for 1-3 days adventure will be one of the best choices. The most commonly used trail is the sanje waterfall trail which takes about 4 hours to the 170m high waterfall and here you are required to go with an armed ranger, the shot one is sonjo which takes about an hour and the longest is lumemo trail which takes upto six days on a camping trip. For good guiding services get intouch with the village weaver birding tours which takes several trips to the eastern arch Mountains and the southern Highlands also you can get intouch with joseph cosmas at josephcosmas205@gmail.com who is one of the top guides in this area

Give recommendations for making your visit as productive as possible.
