Like many sites in the Algarve, this place is good al year round, except summer.

Birdwatching is better at high tide.

You can leave your car at the train station and walk to the marsh or drive there. Then, walking around the marsh can take a couple of hours.

Guiding tours are available with A Rocha Life all year.

Give recommendations for making your visit as productive as possible.
This may include for instance:
• best season
• best time of the day
• how much time to spend at the site
• best means of locomotion within the site
• recommended routes / areas within the site
• guiding
