Guasimo can be visited any time of the year. Early morning hours are most productive, later in the day it may get very hot, especially on sunny days. Half a day is usually enough to find many of the specialities. Two circular trails are available within the reserve. A local guide will be very helpful to find the more secretive species.

Give recommendations for making your visit as productive as possible.
This may include for instance:
• best season
• best time of the day
• how much time to spend at the site
• best means of locomotion within the site
• recommended routes / areas within the site
• guiding
