Nature reserve Stawy Milickie (Stawno area).

Medieval times-old, shallow fishponds surrounded by thick reedbeds and alder carrs. Very rich in various bird species, especially in the spring (migrating&breeding) and summer (breeding): great reed&reed&sedge warblers, penduline&bearded tits, grey&white herons, nightingales, kingfishers, great bitterns, bitterns, little&great-crested&red-necked grebes, various species of ducks: ferruginous (rather rare here), pochards, tufted ducks, pintales, wigeons, teals, garganeys, showelers, gadwalls, mallards, birds of pray: white-tailed eagles and marsh harriers are really common, as well as red kites, common buzzards, goshawks and sparrowhawks.

Very interesting also during autumn migration (Sept-Oct) due to its high importance as a stopover place (especially empty ponds after fish catch) for many water birds (nighting cranes, feedinf&resting swans, geese, ducks, gulls, waders). Big flocks of birds (cranes, starlings, swallows, gulls) concentrating in evenings at Grabownica fishpond visible from observation tower "Wieża Ptaków Niebieskich". Mid-September till the beginning of October very good place for hearing and watching mating time of the red deer (males roar very loudly in reed beds).
