Most interesting during migration times with many migrants possible. Attractive breeding species such as Gull-billed Terns, Purple Swamphen and Great Spotted Cuckoo, as well as early-returning wading birds make also a summer visit interesting, although the heat and mosquitos can be a nuisance.
In the winter, there can be overwintering Greater Spotted Eagle, as well as Cranes and waterfowl.

Car Break-In is quite common, especially around the more touristy areas.
